Tommaso dopo aver perso il lavoro rientra in Sardegna. Disperato decide di farla finita sdraiandosi sulle rotaie della ferrovia. Si tratta però di un binario morto, l’ennesima linea soppressa. Il ragazzo solo e sconsolato incontra Franco, un personaggio singolare che abita in una stazione abbandonata. L’uomo ha un unico obiettivo, rimettere in sesto l’antico vigneto di famiglia, per tornare indietro nel tempo e riassaporare il vino di quando era bambino, un vino prodotto fin dall’epoca nuragica.
